I recently bought a sony vaio RS-420 and reformatted and installed windows 2000 (which they do not support). Everything seems to be working fine except for the printer. It does not find it automatically or recognize it at all using the parallel port. I can't figure out why. I did install the driver and try printing and I get this error. 'The document Test Page owned by Matt failed to print. Win32 error code returned by the print processor. 3003(0xbbb). If that helps. Thanks

Sony Vaio won't communicate with Cannon Bubble Jet

I have installed all the latest patches and fixes. The printer works fine on any other windows 2000 pc. It must have something to do with the parallel port since it will not even detect it like the others do automatically. Any thing I could check?
