We are using SonicWall Pro 2040. I have the VPN Client installed and it works great as long as I am plugged in to the Linksys router. If I try to use the wireless card it will not connect to the VPN.

Anyone have this problem?

Thanks,

Jitter

I am having same problem with a Linksys WRT54G router. I am fine and can establish a VPN connection when 'hard wired' to one of the ports on the router, but am unable to establish VPN connection when on Wireless. I will check back in if I find the problem and solution...

Found a solution: When I am connected via ethernet cable to the Linksys wireless router my VPN connection goes through fine. When I go to wireless, I cannot establish the VPN connection UNTIL I disabled the Windows (XP PRO) firewall - then the connection went right through!

Have you guys tried adding the sonicwall executable as an exception to the Microsoft Firewall rules so you can use VPN and have the firewall up as well?

Sorry, I have been away but thanks for the options to try. I will try them when I get home and let you know what I find.

Thanks,

Jitter
