Hello, I am having a problem with VPN clients getting to resources. My network consists of 2 sites connected by Sonicwall VPNs. I am not having any issue with this part at all. But i am having an issue with VPN Clients that connect to site1 and can not access anything on site2. Basically Site1 is where our file server and all of our clients are. Site2 is a server farm where we house our Exchange and web server. I am not even sure where to start with this in the Sonicwall.

I could setup 2 connections in the Global VPN Client, but i would much rather have them connect to site1 and be able to access resources in site2. Hopefully this is possible.

Any information is much appreciated! Thanks!

what are your ip ranges for site 1, site 2, and vpn users? do you allow traffic from vpn users to traverse s-to-s vpn?

Site1 and VPN Users are assigned 192.168.101.0/24 addresses
Site2 has 192.168.128.0/24 addresses.

I am very new to administering a VPN, so i think what i want is traffic to traverse site-to-site. I am not sure where to set the setting for that.

I am using a Sonicwall 1260 Enhanced.

i apologize, i'm not familiar with SonicWall configurations...what do you get when you establish a VPN connection from home and run a tracert (assuming you are using Windows as the client)? do you have any logging enabled on the devices? Also, have you tried the SonicWall Forum - forum1385

This sounds like a NAT issue, like the subnets that are assigned to the VPN are being MATted back out. Is this an IPSEC tunnel?
