Sonicwall 230 + Ms VPN client

Has anyone successfully connected to a Sonicwall VPN from and Microsoft VPN client? I have been trying to do this for sometime with no luck. I can connect to the VPN with the Sonicwall Global client. Any help/documentation appreciated.

I know the sonic wall downloadable client works easy. Why would you want to do without it unless you don't have a extra license to do the sonic wall client? Is that the issue?

The SonicWall client is a IPSec client.

Which Windows client are you using (IPSec, PPTP or L2TP)?

Windoes IPSec client might work, but is a bear to setup (easy to go wrong).
