I have a question which I am not sure where exactly to post it so I post it here.
There are many sites who will offer you the possibility to search the Web and that's fine. But when I click on one of the sites which have been founded, the browser will load that site into my computer. So, I wonder if there are sites on the web who offer the possibility to go to a certain site but they will load that site somewhere else (on their server or something) so I can watch that site in that way.
I don't really know how this works, or if you understand my question.
Please tell me if it is possible or not so I don't bother other people too.

    Thanks
             Vio

I don't understand your question. What is the desired end result?

I believe she is wanting to see the site without caching it first. I haven't tried it, but I'm sure under Tools > Internet Option, you might be able to diable caching. But this, if it works, would disable most of the more advanced features of the web.

Jonathan

I knew you wouldn't understand me, so I will explain it again.

For some time ago i visited a site where they a Text box in which one could type an URL and click on a send button. What happened was that the site loaded the new site in their own window so I could watch it there. I know that because they showed the new site in a smaller window in the middle of their own site.
If you really want to understand my question do the following two things:

Step 1:
Go to <A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> an click on "For a full analysis click here". Then after a couple of minutes you will see everything they know about you: your IP, domain name, the trace route, and so on.

Step 2:
Go to <A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> and type <A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> on the text box "Enter a web site to visit". When you come to <A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> do the same thing that you did before, that is click on "For a full analysis click here". This time they will tell you that you have a completely different IP address, your domain name is anonymizer.com and they will know nothing about you. What happens is that <A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> put a stop to their tracking.

Now back to my question:
I would like to know if there are other sites on the web who offer the possibility to go to a certain URL but not to be tracked, that is if the URL I visit wants to track me, they will get only information about the site in which I typed the URLs name.

Have I been clear now?

       Thanks again,

                         Vio

Good luck. Keeping people from knowing what's on your system is going to be about as easy as running your computer without an operating system.....and that's probably what you will have to do to get it to work.

Think about it. Your connected to another computer on an open line. If you know what to do, you can get the exact information about their computer.

Very old post...but on the offchance you're looking... is a site that has some most interesting things on it...including an anonymizer.
Russian page that I found I know not how...and can't understand much of it 'cause it's in Russian (I think)...but the parts I do understand keep me coming back there.
