Some writing/studying tips

I haven't looked at many of the pdf documents at that page, but I found the few I've scanned so far to be rather short and somehow lacking. I was particularly disappointed by the one on résumés.
Also with only cursory review, I have been enjoying Craig Waddell's Basic Prose Style and Mechanics.
