Had a strange problem happen to 3 users that we added last week. They login to the domain fine but when they open Outlook, it prompts them for a user, password and domain information. Any attempt to enter this information is rejected. This started happening yesterday morning, they were working fine the day before.
We all the normal troubleshooting we could do and finally turned to our consultants who recommended running a Rebuild Recipient Update Service. We ran this overnight but we're still having the same problems.
Right now our work around is OWA ( id then when prompted for user and password, we enter a domain admin user and password).
This sound familiar to anyone? FWIW, client's are running Office 2000 on XP Pro machines. Appreciate any assistance. Thanks.
