Some User Session not show in 'Current Users' Screen - SAGE 300 ERP 2014

Hi

We have 3 users who log in Accpac but not able to show in the current user session screen.

During client installation for this 3 pc, system prompt 'There are no installed organisations' if using \\servername\.After changing the path by using ip address, it works.
Others client pc were using \\servername which works fine.

Would like to know if it's the ip path causing system not able to trace user login session ?

You should never use an IP path. If \\servername didn't work, then the issue is with your network's DNS server.

Maybe you are not pointing to the same shared data folder....

Thanks all for the reply.

Shared data folder should be the same as user able to login accpac and key in transaction without issue. Will check on the DNS as advised.

The fact that users can login does not mean that the shared data folder is the same.
The fact that some users do not show in current users could be because the shared data folder is not the same for all users/computers.
