Hi

I have since recently found that some websites e.g. cannot be loaded in Internet Explorer (Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage) or Firefox (Server not found), but load just fine on the AOL browser.

Any idea why this might be and what I can do to resolve? I have tried starting in safe mode and still doesn't work so cant be the firewall. Have also cleared out the DNS cache and no improvement.

Thanks

Hans

Sounds like your DNS server is not finding the correct IP address.

The answer is "42"

Loads fine for me on IE, firefox and K-Meleon

42Dec = 2AHex = ASCII *

Thanks for your responses. Any ideas how I can fix it?

What happens on IE/Firefox? Do you get a 404?

This is a secure page (https) that possibly uses Javascript. Check whether Javascript is enabled.

No, just the message on IE that the page cannot be displayed and on Firefos that the server is busy. A lot of other pages work fine, just some dont but these do work on the AOL browser then!
