Some of my tools command acting strange, why?

Recently when I used the:
1. Clone/ Stamp tool, I can't tell the size of my cloning tool. Usually, when you click on that brush size, your cursor change size according to your preference this way you know exactly the size to choose for. But instead, it doesn't show anything. I can still clone the image.

2. The Lasso line command, sometime instead of getting the default Lasso line cursor, I got the annoying "Crosshair/ +" cursor. Is there a way to change that?

First, check to see if Caps Lock is on. This can change the type of cursor.

Next, check the brush size of the clone tool. Is it so small it's hard to see? Or is it so big it doesn't fit on screen. The more you zoom in, the bigger it will look.

Finally, check 'Displays & Cursors' settings under Preferences.

I reckon (as blueark says) that it is the caps lock. Took me a month to figure that one out, way back when...

Ah, thanks guys. So it is that crazy Cap Lock, one key can be so crazy, lol.
Glad everything is back to normal.
