Hi all

On our old system we used to have all users forwarding to their vm via short code (dont ask me why) now we have 500v2 we dont need to have all users configured that way. is there a way to remove all forwards from all users as i dont fancy going through individually and removing them one by one. also the powers that be want all users to have forward when busy to go to reception, can this be done en mass aswell?

cheers

thats what i am talking about - is there a way in manager to do it en mass?

You're correct, typical of Avaya to miss the most likely settings (like busy las CA)

In which case i am with Amriddle, Teach the users how to use their phones.

Tell them how to do it for themselves each time and they (may) eventualy remebmer, no it for them & they will never bother.
(It also helps if the responce times for things they can do themselfs is ectended compared to real issues)

usefull Defaukt short codes

*00 cancel all diverts & DND
*01 Forward unconditional on
*02 Forward Unconditional off
*03 Forwarrd on Busy On
*04 Forward on Busy Off
*05 Forward No Answer On
*06 Forward no answer off
*07*N# set forward unconditional dest to N
*57*N# Set forward no ans/busy to N

*08 DND on
*09 DND Off

These features can also be programmed on softkeys if req.
