Hello,

There is a new feature in SQL Server 2000, that is the data mining. By default it supports 2 algorithms the decision tree algorithm and the clustering alogorithm.
I want to add third party algorithm to it. How can i do it. Can u give me an example.
Kindly give me the soultion as it is urgently needed.

Thanks and Regards,
Malini.

I would think this question would be best answered by the vendor you are getting your algorithm from. THey have probably dealt with the issue many times and know all the tricks and pitfalls.

I think we can use OLE DB for data mining specification for adding the third party algorithm. Can you give an example how to add algorith through OLE DB?
