This thread will help you to deal with echo problems encountered when programming Analog trunks.

For those who are experiencing echo when making external calls ( echo for about 5 sec / echo all the time / silence for about 5 sec / one way audio ),

Here the solution :

In the CO Trunk Cuircuit Descriptor form program thoses setting :

Fake Answer Supervision after Outpulsing : Yes
ignore Answer Supervision : Yes
Release Supervision Expected : Yes
Audio inhibit Until Answer Supervsion : No

--> Now you gonna to have Echo For about 5 sec and two ways audio.

Correct the echo by setting the option Drop digit receiver for outgoing audio before answer supervision to Yes.
