Solaris client on AIX server ......is it possible???

Hi all

is it possible to hav solaris cleint for leagto on aix box which is running legato server?
coz at present i am running nt clients on aix box running leagato server.

all suggetions r welcome..

Yes it is very much possible to do that. You have to install the corresponding client package (cleintpak (?)) for solaris. Note that the version of Legato should remain the same on both.

Dear Anu,
I tried installing Legato client on solaris box and added the corresponding client on AIX server running legato.

but its giving me error as follows while starting the backup.

NetWorker registration: (notice) License rejected for client db1devcrasge

i have 25 client license but i am not sure whether diff license is required for solaris client.
