Solaris 9 installation - Error message 1

Hi,

I am installing solaris 9 on Sun 280R (new installation on old box) using DVD-ROM.After I give all the system configuration information it waits at "system being initialized" and afterwards it throws this error message "InvocationTargetException" and comes out.I tried booting from jumpstart server as well but still the same error message comes.

Any ideas ???

Never really ran into this before myself but it does seem like there are people with similar issues to your.
It seems like upgrades of solaris have caused similar issues. Since you said this was an old box but trying to configure new, have you tried booting cdrom -s and formatting and newfs the drive to wipe it clean. Then try to do your load. Just a suggestion.
