solaris 8 x86 boot problem 1

When the machine boots it opens the configuration assistant. I looked into it. Everything is identified ok.
But, there is no default boot device. When I try to set the HD as default drive it freezes. Though if I select to boot from HD without setting it as a default boot device, it boots.
Any suggestions?

It was the graphics card IRQ, same as the usb's IRQ. Disabled IRQ and that worked. I wander these idiots setting up the bios don't even bother to check the resources?????
