I am trying to change the software in my test MICS from 6.0 to 2.0 and the system will not come back up. Please help.

Try shorting the battery on the motherboard for about 10 seconds to reset the system to a clean config prior to installing the older version of software.

Never short the capacitor in the KSU.

To down grade to lower rev software...

Unplug and replug KSU.

Run startup routine.

When phone system says "initialing" unplug KSU

Remove current software and insert old rev.

Replug KSU... system should come up as old rev.

full agreement, do not short the cap, you can easily damage it and it will not hold its charge when needed.

If voting could really change things, it would be illegal.
