Software / hardware / license analyzing tools

Hi,
We currently use Track-it 6.5 for inventory audits. I don't like it. It's never accurate,and I'm not good at using Crystal reports for getting reports. Is there a software / license tracking tool that I can run and get and accurate number of PCs, software on this PCs, licenses coresponding to the software e.t.c.
Any ideas?

I know the pain, we use a product from a company Prefix.
simple to use thats my main criteria

You could always try SysTrack from Lakeside Software. (

They have an easy to use inventorying tool, complete with hundreds of built in reports.
