I need a copy of the IP office admin software. Is it available anywhere except behind Avaya's abysmal SSO login?

Why do you think SSO is abysmal?

It seems for later releases that you need a contract to download Manager.

Avaya has gotten a lot better in at least finding the downloads. It was a decade + ago that finding it was the challenge.

somewacko2 send me an email to my google account 67 +my handle then I can send you a download link so that you can get it.

Hello,

I am also in need of a download from the Avaya website but can't get in without an account number inputted when registering. My company purchased our phone system back in 2013 and the reseller we bought it from went under. I have no idea what the account number is that was used. I need to upgrade our software from version 9.0.1.0 build 845 to version 11.0.4.4.0 build 6 since a feature we were using is no longer working (the voicemail to email option). The old version doesn't have options for SSL encryption for email and I've read the newer versions do. Office 365 is now requiring it. I need the Admin CD download since it seems a few files are missing from the upgrade option in the software and need to load them in. I'm hesitant to do the upgrade as is without these additional files that are missing fearing I might screw something up with it.

Thanks, Mike.

not all hardware is supported on R11 any more so what you see greyed out is the hardware that has no new bin files if I am not mistaking.

This may also mean that you have hardware installed that is not supported and will stop working after the upgrade

Thank you, I'll check into that. I've had to replace a couple of the modules in the past for a bad port. I'll see what I have installed in there right now and see if they can be replaced with a more modern equivalent of it.

Here's the list of supported modules so moving to 11.0 may push some out of support.

You do need an upgrade licence and I am sure if someone is selling this they can supply you with the download.

Just following up with this post...

I dug around online and found this website which has really helped me along quite a lot so far. I downloaded a lot of versions of the IP Office software to see which is the newest that supports my modules for the software update, yet be able to get me to configure SSL on my SMTP email settings. Reading in the documentation, the SSL option (or STARTTLS) was added in version 9.0.3, which is newer than my current software version of 9.0.1.0 build 845.

The version I'm going to be using is 9.0.9.0 build 995. I haven't done the software upgrade yet (I'll do it overnight one night when no one is in the building), but all the things in the list are checked (although I see the bottom one is not listed as seen on the newer version, and the modules that were unchecked in the newer version of the IP Office Manager software have different names), so I think the upgrade process to this version at least will be OK.

I submitted the above link to be featured on the Links page of this forum (I think it needs admin approval before being featured on that page), for anyone else needing the software to be able to get access to it. For me, I think it's been a great deal of help.

Thanks,

Mike

Thank you Mike Sadowski for that site, have some pink for it

I didn't see Manager Suites downloads for those versions, the one newest one for version 9.0 was 9.0.9.0.995. Those only seem like supporting documents for those versions.
