Software distribution

Hi,
I am trying to deploy win2ksp2 and also office2000 service packs through sms distribution?
So for when I create the distribution noting happens.
I have created a package and then distribution and also advertised it as well. But still I am not doing something that needs to be done. Can someone give me step of one service pack distribution? Thanks a lot for the kind help.

i would like to thanks chris for his fast response and greate knowledge which he has,

also i would like to ask khan99, after u creat the package, and add it to the consle ( new package + program associated with it + dispoint ) create the advertisement specify the schedule ... what happen in the client
Have u seen some thing in the advertise monitor in the client...
