Softphone will not register - says to unreserve it

This is a 4.0 softphone running on a PC with Win7.
Not coming in through VPN but a directly connected remote site. How do I "unreserved" it?
System is 6.0 Linux on the Sig Server.

is that free/share ware on that soft phone.. most of the time unreserve it is looking for softare lic.. some soft phones let you download software to play with BUT not actually connect with $$$

no, this is a fully licensed i2050 from Avaya, v4.
changed the HWID a few times, outed the TN and moved it.
I just don't know and cant find what a stale reservation is?

Thanks all, our network engineer cleared the ARP cache in the network switch the user was plugged into and that cleared the problem.
