I have the following case.

S8400/G650. Public addresses used. When i use the softphone from my home adsl it works fine. When the client is trying from his home with his adsl connection he gets a message saying something about NAT. I told him to forward ports 1719 and 1720 and also a udp range for the rtp that i also defined in a new network region. Nevertheless we cannot get it to work. I also did a trace on the station as you can see bellow.

list trace station 080 Page 1

LIST TRACE

time data

10:34:33 rcv GRQ endpt S8400IP:20663 switch SoftPhoneIP:1719 ext 080
10:34:33 snd GCF endpt S8400IP:20663 switch SoftPhoneIP:1719 ext 080
10:34:35 rcv GRQ endpt CLANIP:20663 switch SoftPhoneIP:1719 ext 080
10:34:35 snd GCF endpt CLANIP:20663 switch SoftPhoneIP:1719 ext 080

In the call server field on the softphone he has entered the processor instead of the CLAN but i guess this is not the problem because i can see in the trace that the CLAN is sending a confirmation. After the above he gets the message regarding the NAT.

Any help much appreciated.5

The ADSL modem at home may not support NAT. Check to see the specs of the modem as I experienced this before.
