SoftPhone Lines not showing up

We've never run this before but maybe it isn't working because we're on CM 4.1 but here goes... I've added myself as a user in CM and I know my password both of which I've entered into the UN and PW in the SoftPhone settings. I've tried both the FQDN and the IP of my computer as the "Associated PC". I've assigned my actual phone to my User account. I've entered the correct IP addresses of the Call Managers in the SoftPhone. I think I've covered all of the basics but it's still not going.
 
Check your TSP version. CCM 4.1 has a newer version of TSP than the one packaged with Softphone. You can install it from CCM Admin /application/install plugin menu.

Also give IPCommunicator a shot. It is a 7970 emulation that works pretty well as far as I have seen. It uses skinny as opposed to the TSP. Softphone will be going away eventually, and IPC is the next generation product.
 
Thanks, installing the updated TSP worked. I am currently downloading IP Communicator and will probably use that though as it looks (and probably works) better.
