SoftPhone Headset training adaptors

All,

I know this may sound a little crazy but we have just went to softphones in our environment and using Logitech USB headsets and we have some agents that assist in training new hires by having them sit and listening to calls. How would I get a 2nd Logitech USB headset to be able to listen to the calls with the agent. Before we used a headset training adaptor for the actual desk phones. I've tried setting the agents headset that is tasking calls as the default device and default communicator and I added the 2nd headset as a listening device in recordings under stereo mix but the 2nd headset still isn't able to hear anything (using windows 7). Any suggestions and help would be much appreciated. Also do they make any type of USB splitter that can be used.

Maybe logitech has one? Or, softphone the listener with a laptop and do a service observe on the station they'd be listening to if you can put another laptop at the desk if another LAN jack is available?

Thanks for the response but that option won't work, we don't give our new hires laptops, they all have PC's at their desk, all of the splitter I see are phone jack type that converts to usb.

Ask logitech if you bought a bunch? Or use different headsets for training that have the splitter built in?

I currently use service observing to help in training. The trainee in on the actual equipment (either Phone or one X agent.) Trainer is on his set observing. You can either have just listen or trainer can speak.
