softphone 2050 over VPN

Hi all,

please give me a solution for ip softphone 2050 need to work over VPN. The site have VPN and the clients can use this remotely . In LAN Environment softphone is working good , when they are going through VPN client connectivity it is not functioning.
Please suggest me if i need to open any port for getting connection.

To connect to a BCM you need to have port 7000 open. On a CS1000 the port is 4100. There are some signaling ports in I believe the 5200-6200 range that is uses, but the ports I mentioned first must be open for the phone to register.

Also, a VPN connection is needed if you are running this system over the internet. It will not work without it.
