Hi Ladies and Gents

I have an IPO406 running 4.2.14 with Soft Console 4.2.11. BLF's are not updating to show the user as free when they clear down from a call. Any user that uses there handset is then shown continually as busy even after they have cleared down.

Here's the strange thing.....if I put one of these users into DND then the BLF updates to show this and then shows the user as free when I hang up. If I then take the user out of DND the BLF updates to show they are not in DND anymore but then doesn't clear and still shows them as busy after I have hung up.

Firewall can't be the issue or I wouldn't see any updates at all. It's a digital install so there are no VLAN's involved just the one LAN and single subnet.

Any clues?

Sorry 4.2.19 was dealing with a VM issue earlier this a soft console issue.

I think i am one of the two other vendors with the same problem. I have 2 softconsole local on a ip406 in a SCN.
I did some test's with a pc locally connected on the internal switch of the ip406. In call status i see the right information. In soft console some status info is not correct. Also in phone manager the same incorrect status info. I think it is not a network problem. Is it a firmwareproblem in combination with ip406v2 hardware??
In 4.0 firmware i had no problem by this customer.

Maybe i can add another one
PMpro with the same issues !

new update, had the customer restart 2 locations of the 7 branch SCN now the Softconsole is working just not sure for how long it will stay this way. The problem happened out of the blue no updates or upgrades to anything. No changes to the firewalls (private network so no interoffice firewalls are active) or the network, seems strage to me if I haven't upgraded the IPO's that it would be a firmware issue as it has been running for a few months on this release.

My customer's problem is also solved. I downgraded the ip406v2 to 4.1(15) firmware. After this the softconsole shows the correct blf status. Everyone is happy.

anyone ever get a concrete result on this

done everything on this, updated to latest version 4.2,

got debug and monitor running waiting to grab loggs off but dont have a clue what to do next, trying to work with BP on this one will see what they say

Maxwell, is the IPO in the same network or is it on a routed network?

You could try to disable Multicast Filter (IGMP Snooping) on the switch(es)
