About 3 years ago we upgraded to CM4.1/S8720s. We also installed IP SoftConsole for our attendant. The business partner installed the SoftConsole in a cloud of mystery, leaving us no information on how to affect changes (other than adding users).
It has since been brought to our attention that we were given no backup criteria. Does anyone know just how much of the PC needs to be backed up in order to allow for a quick restore? Currently our support department runs monthly images, but this is ineffective because it doesn't capture users added since the last image. Is there a database that can be backed up and added to quickly get the box back online?
Also, if anyone is in the know of a concise SoftConsole document that is actually useful, please let me know. The Avaya documentation regarding SoftConsole isn't very useful, and the section on backups may as well not even exist.
