SoftConsole and Communicator - IPO SoftPhone options

Hi

I am using IPO SoftConsole and Avaya communicator together. Works fine except when transferring to external lines and receiving multiple calls. I have added 3 more appearance lines to the user config in Manager but still not able to recevie more than one call at a time. I wonder if this is the same reason I cant make external call transfers. I tried putting the user in a hunt group of one but still no luck.

Is this limitation coming from the communicator? Do I need a different type of client to achieve this? basically the receptionist needs to receive multiple calls and als transfer these calls to mobiles etc.

On the User Tick Busy on Held to allow multiple calls on soft console or communicator I believe.

Looks like that was a setting required for the old softphone to transfer a call.

Just tested this myself and I have no issues with transferring calls (both internally and externally) I answer using softconsole when only logged into communicator.

I cannot however receive a call when I am on a call on communicator - it is as though communicator is set with two call appearances and Reserve last CA active. If you put the call on hold you still cannot receive another call, but if you park the call you can then receive another call.

Can't seem to find a way to receive a second call when using Communicator.

Checking and do not have BOH turned on lol, but do not Call Waiting turned on.

I have had a play and it is a combination of softconsole and communicator causing the issue. When just logged into Communicator I am able to receive a second call when on a call, if I answer it puts the first on hold. I can then actually receive more calls and can answer each which puts the previous active one on hold. However as soon as I log into Soft console as well any second calls to the same extension return busy.

Thanks for trying out all those scenarios Pepp. And softconsole only works with avay end points to my understanding.

I will try the old soft phone and update. Maybe it has beeter integration with softconsole.
