Does anyone know if you can use Softphone from a remote location or do you have to be on the local network.

I just read the info for softphone on the knowledge base and there was no mention of using it remotely.

I'm using IPO 500 version 6.0

It will work OK if you connect using a VPN, using a blind connection to an external address rarely works vey well if at all (with the exception of third party SIP endpoints that use STUN servers etc)
