SOE with 4406 speaker phones sound fades in and out 1

My customer has a SOE V2.1.24 using embedded voicemail. When they replay their voicemail messages on their 4406 phones using the speaker it fades in and out, they will have to pickup the handset and replay the voicemail to ensure they got the complete message. Also when on a conference call using the speakerphone the sounds fades in and out. Normal handset conversation is fine.

Are there any power settings to boost the output to the 4406, or perhaps they may have a wiring bleedover problem. Anybody else seen anything like this?

Tell them to press Mute while listening to the message. Background noise mutes the speaker and activates the Mic. I've experienced this several times.
