Socket Error

I tried to find an answer to this, I could not. I use IncrediMail for all my email, will Win 98 or IE 6.0 cause the new error message I receive when I try ti send mail:

"Socket Error" (317)

Could someone please steer me in the right direction? Thank you.

Delete Incredimail and use Outlook express. I had it loaded once and all sorts of silly things started to happen so I ditched it and everything was fine...Dave

I bought the upgraded program, and it has worked perfectly, till this problem. And I noticed it only happens when I send email with a large attachment. I hate to give up on something I had to pay for, at least yet, but thanks.

I contacted my ISP, I was told it is not them causing the problem, according to them somthing in win 98 is causing the socket error message. Any ideas, please, this is about got to my last nerve ...
