This is the same question asked in the BCM forum, but I am asking it for Succession 3.0 and 5.0. Are the sets, any VoIP model, with 3.0 or 5.0 software, SNMP capable? I am being put up against Avaya sets that are directly addressable though a MIB Browser.

Are those tough enough? I hope not because I need the help.

If this one is too easy, can anyone tell me where the NTP time settings are in Succession 3.0, if they exist?
I am an end user, not a vendor.

Thanks

NTP settings for CS1k only came out (finally) with Rel. 5.0.

Don't know about the sets though. I don't think so.

MagnaRGP,
Thanks, with a star, for your help with two questions. I thought this was the fact about NTP settings and with your verification I am good to go.

Now to work on the SNMP.

What do you would like SNMP to do?

If you need to have the CS1K sending SNMP Traps and the Applicatiosn they cna do it. There is a MIB available for all these stuff and you can implement into your favorite NMS.

I would like to be able to browse directly to the set.

The main reason is because my outfit is split between Nortel 30% and Avaya 70% and I may be fighting for a career.

Our upper management tends to retire to jobs with the Avaya vendor and they are always looking for ways to replace Nortel.
