SNMP monitoring on Avaya Aura hardware by Customer??

Hello All
Any one have ever got a request from a Customer to setup an specific SNMP community RW for all Avaya physical device on a network?

Customer has multi site Avaya Aura with G4xx/LSP, Platforms, CM, SM, SMGR, AAM, SBC, AACC and more.
How do you deal with this?
Is there an outlined procedure from Avaya to set this up?
What is the impact to give Read Write?

In 15 years on Avaya Product I have never been asked this question.

I am just afraid that for every minor traps that goes out we will get tons of service calls which are not justified.

FYI......we have set up some stuff via SNMP, and it does work. I strongly suggest you avoid Avaya's VPFM software. This is actually a rebranded Nortel product and while it appears to work great for data equipment, it utterly fails at voice equipment and we haven't been able to find anyone at Avaya who can get the voice equipment to work in VPFM.
