Hi,

I am completely new to this so please bear with me...)

I have an SNMP manager, routers2.cgi, running on a Linux box and I would like to pull disk and CPU usgae details from my windows server 2003 machines.

I've installed the SNMP service on all of the windows boxes and I can pull off information fine but nothing that relates to cpu or disk.

Do I need to install/add a MIB to the 2003 machines and the Linux box? I'm just clutching at straws.

Any advice greatly appreciated,

Regards,

Pilg.....

You need a programme like Getif which can browse the OID Tree of your machines.

Then you copy the "HOST-RESOURCES-MIB" to the programme-folder where the MIB Files are stored.

(This MIB File can you download on
Now start your programme and you find under ".iso.org.dod.internet.mgmt.mib-2.host.hrDevice.hrProcessorTable.hrProcessorEntry.hrProcessorLoad" the ProcessorLoad of your 2003 machines.
