Hello All,

I tried to enable snmp on a 3750 switch which is using stackwise to group 4 switches together. I have multiple vlans running, do I need to do something other than
snmp-community test1 RO?

When I connect with solarwinds I only see just a few ports that are in vlan1 only.

any help is greatly appreciated!

I believe so, on all of my switches I had to configure these as well, also logging for syslog messages. I am not familiar with solarwinds and what it looks for.

Code:
SW-02(config)#snmp-server enable traps
SW-02(config)#snmp-server host A.B.C.D

Also, 'snmp-server enable taps' will enable all traps, you can drill down if you like but I just do them all.

Are the switchports you aren't seeing in VLAN1 via Solarwinds actually Trunk ports, maybe?

I made the mistake of forgetting to add the @vlan# to my community string.

thank you all for your help!
