I have a couple easy questions for everyone. I have 2 remote offices that are connection to my main location via point-to-point t1's. I have SNMP enabled on the routers and Compaq's Insight Manager see's the SNMP information. My problem is that Insight Manager isn't able to get the SNMP information from the servers on the other side of the connection. Is there something that I need to do to enable the SNMP information to be sent through the routers?

Also, does anyone know where I can get Cisco MIB's for Compaq Insight Manager?

I have been trying to poll them directly. I just want to make sure that the router isn't blocking the SNMP polling.

Double check configs of router to see if any access-list is blocking SNMP.

First do a basic IP communication, from the SNMP mgmt tool to the server. (Ping). This will eliminate any connectivity issue from the management station to the servers.

Check whether the string you are using have been keyed in correctly at either ends.
