I have Server 2008 Core and installed the SNMP service using the command, "start /w ocsetup SNMP-SC", then restarted the server.

How do I configure the SNMP communities, permissions, and trap destinations?

I know how to configure it with a regular version of windows, but how do you do it in 2008 CORE if there is no GUI?

(Or is there a way to bring up the Services window?)

Configure it from a remote computer. Open up Computer Management on your machine and then connect to the server. You should then be able to pull up the services to that server from your machine.
