Where do I set the snmp community string on the G650 and where does the agent reside?

On the G700 the snmp agent appears to reside on the mgp. When I set the community string on the stack I can monitor or use the string on the mgp interface.

Please disregard this post I see where it resides on the s8700

What software are you using to capture your traps? Im using wire shark now. It does the job but, Im looking for a package that will e-mail the (TEST) log file to me hourly.

The only other way that I know to do it is to write a CRON JOB to grab that file an e-mail it but, I have to have wire shark to look at the file.

You can send traps to multiple receivers. net-snmp runs on Linux & Windows systems. It is command-line oriented, so it would not seem to be difficult to write a script that does what you want.
