I had installed a Quantum Snap Server to my network and it works well. But after I installed a new server, the new server cannot access the snap server while the other machine can do. I reboot the server and it works, but after 1 day, the problem happen again claimed that I have no right to access the snap server.

Can anyone help to on this? Much thanks.

I am assuming you have setup the snap server in a domain and are using the Microsoft Networking authentication where it downloads a list of user names from the PDC. There could be a couple of problems but try this first. May be the snap server cannot attach properly to the domain controller so go to a explorer or netscape window and type in:

after you have got through the admin authentication tyepei in the white box the following

hosts <DOMAINNAME> ip <IP address of pdc>

This will tell the snap server who your PDC is and attach to it. I have used snap server for years so if you have more problems let me know
