On my Win2K Server, I have a web-based application that sends email out using SMTP. It suddenly stopped sending mail last week but I can find no erros being logged or any email building up in a queue. I am behind a firewall that I do not administer. What can I check? I'd also like to be able to verify that I can get out to the Internet through port 25. How can I do that? Thanks.

Had similiar problem not too long ago. The mail was getting choked up in the mail spooler on the firewall. If you can, have whom ever is managing your firewall check the spooler.

Check the permissions on the SMTP direcotories. SMTP uses the anonymous user account it that account needs Change permissions.
