Hi

I have a new server running Windows 2000 Server. However, I can't seem to get SMTP service to work. Is there something that I should know? When I use CDONTS and try to send mail using ASP, it just sends everything to the BAD MAIL subdirectory.

Any suggestions? I tried changing the PORT, I tried restarting the server. The SMTP server doesn't indicate a problem. It just doesn't the email.

It sounds like the SMTP Service is not able to resolve any of the intended email addresses through a DNS server. Do you have your network adapter assigned to a valid DNS Server?
