I am running McAfee Anti-Virus w/ePolicy Orch. After McAfee performs its scheduled scan, it blocks port 25 (SMTP) on the Exchange 2003 server. Thank you.
To fix this, select the server in your ePo console. Click on the Policies Tab, go to the Access Protection Policies area of VirusScan Enterprise 8.0, make sure you select server and not workstation in the drop down box, unclick inherit, uncheck "Prevent Mass Mailing Worms from Sending Mail", click apply, do a wakeup call on that machine and you should be all set.
