I'm running Exchange 2000 with all of the latest service packs, etc. I just tested an antivirus software from RAV when the SoBig hit just recently. I uninstalled it right away because it had wiped out all of the text in my emails that were sitting in the store, and now the smtp server is unresponsive to outside requests for connection. If I change the port that it is listening on to an alternate port, I can connect fine. I have been trying to figure this one out for a couple days, and I'm guessing it is simple, but I haven't been able to solve it.
Will someone please give me a suggestion or two.
