SMTP Connectors

I got this message when I try to forward mails to a smarthost using smtp connectors...

What could be the problem!!

I am having lots of problem with Exchange 2000

make sure the smarthost smtp server you are forwarding to is configured to allow relaying by the ip address that is sending to it. configure this on the smtp virtual server on the smarthost itself if this a exchange 2000 box.
