SMSServer_XXX account locking out.

Has anybody successfully recovered from this situation. As a result cannot distribute software and .ddr are just sitting at the logon points. Tried the aclreset.exe to no avail. Any help would be much appreciated.

Forgot to add, i've tried to reset the site from the cd but it errors with out with "unable to write out the control file"
