SMS Client Conection Account Msgs Filling up Event Log

A SMSClientAcct(Client connection account)That does not exist any more (it was deleted from the Domain)is filling up the Security event Logs with thousands of Event Records. I have deleted it the Connection account from SMS and from the Domain, but it appears everyone logging in trys to use this account first, I get a "Bad account name or incorrect password". Any Help in eliminating this would be appreicated.

 
Your SMS-client(s) still use this account as this is the only way for client(s) to communicate with the CAP.
Do you have specified another account ?
If not - you're in trouble as the communication between client and CAP will fail...

Thanks for the reply. I have 2 other accounts. This apparently has been going on for several weeks, if not over a month. The Security Folks are getting upset because the only things they are seeing in their security log is SMSClient entries. I've been hoping that at some point this would stop, especially since I have deleted the account from the Domain and from SMS (no long listed as a connection account). So I'm confused as to where these are coming from. Everything is working fine, just filling up the Security Event Log every day.

Any other sugguestions to be able to stop the maddness would be appreciated.
