Can some recommend a good CBT to get started with SMS?

I am seriously a beginners and was told by someone to wait on the sms beginners edition from technerdsplus.com. They break it down for the newbie like me.We have SMS in our environment but my company is too cheap to send me to training . I need to know the basic not how to build the environment because they will definately not let that happen. I am a desktop tech person and need to show the sms admin the I the ability to assist.

MS has some virtual labs for SMS for free. blogcastrepository.com has a bunch of free movies for SMS.

A lot of books out there.

And there are hours ands hours of webcasts from MS concerning SMS. Boring but, then what webcast isnt :-D

i downloaded one of the webcast but they are light years ahead. I downloaded the software from learnsms and they are good but they cover the entire config.I will not be doing that on the jobs. All i need to know is a basic break down of the stuff. I have a few more cash and will try technerdsplus.com to see if i can understand sms. its really tough to know. may be it becuase i am new to this

A friend recommened them because he has one of there cd and it was simple for me to understand. He would not burn me a copy so due to curiosity I will try it out. Learnsms.com is really good but I don't like the segment to segment video. it seem to be a bit robotic. I work on the help desk and will recommend either learnsms.com or techerdsplus.com base on simplicity.
