SMS 2003 reinstall

Hi, you may have read my post the other day about My MP not working. i decided to uninstall SMS off that machine (2k3 domain controller) and install it on its own server. I am trying to install it and i don't get the option to install a primary site, only a secondary one. I want to make a new SMS primary site with different code, SQL server and everything. Any ideas of what i need to be aware of and why this isn't giving me the option to install a primary site ?

Are you installing it off the sp1 cd?? what I'm getting at is it wont work off the sp1 cd, you have to install it off the sms 2003 cd then add sp1..

Just a guess.

I would run the MP Troubleshooter that comes with the www.microsoft.com/smserver/ downloads/2003/tools/toolkit.asp]Microsoft Toolkit[/url] since it has a utility that test whether the system is properly configured before you install the MP. In addition, it has a utility that will do post MP installation test.
