Hi,
I'm wondering if I can use SMS 2003 to copy a files to all machines in a collection?
If yes, how can it be done?

Regards,
GSC

yeah just wrap it in an sms installer package, pretty simple.

Get sms installer from:

this will only let you run it on the server, but if you have an old sms 2.0 server cd you can get it off of that.

open it in script editor mode.... you probably have to play with it a bit to figure it out but its not to bad.

You can put the file in a shared directory, and distribute a batch file to do a copy.

copy \\sharedfolderonserver\myfile.doc c:\targetfolder

distribute the batchfile, or even run an empty advertisement with that as the commandline

this will be executed on each machine as the batch file is run in normal software execution mode.
