For SMS 2003 there are two official Microsoft courses (Microsoft Official
Curriculum, or MOC):
2596: Managing Microsoft Systems Management Server 2003 (5 days)
2597: Planning and Deploying Microsoft Systems Management Server 2003 (3
days)
2596A is the basics course, everything you should need to know to keep a
site running but not how to play and deploy one. That's covered in the 3 day
2597 course. You should take 2596 before taking 2597.
Both courses are being released in beta versions first, with final versions
appearing in July. The beta versions will be called 2596A and 2597A, and the
final versions will be 259xB. 2596A has already been released and 2597A will
be released by the end of the month and several training centers already
have it on their schedules.
